My mom and I always watch Gone With the Wind every year around Christmas. I look forward to it every year and I’m planning on doing the same with my girls as well.
My favorite memory was watching Grandma making sloppy joes every year in the crockpot. The winking at me and whispering “as much as they love these sloppy joes, they would never eat them if they knew it was deer, our secret”.
My Mom and sister and I always enjoyed shopping before and after Christmas sales…I miss her so much!
For as long as I can remember, my mom and I have made Christmas cookies every year. It has always been about a 3 day event. We bake hundreds of cookies and we pass them out to our friends and family. It was always so much fun that I started the tradition with my kids.
Favorite Christmas memory when I was a kid we went to downtown Chicago and saw all the store windows decorated and then had a wonderful lunch in the “Walnut Room”
My mom and I always decorated the Christmas tree together! I miss doing this with her!!!!
My favorite memory is decorating the house and the tree with my mom and grandma. We would make apple cider and play Christmas music. I miss those times.
